Grant Assistant - Part-Time
The Grant Assistant provides research and administrativesupport for the assessment and planning of a grant project.
Reports to: Dean, Theology
Start Date: Immediately
End Date: May 15, 2025
Hours per Week: 10-15 hours
Hourly Rate: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
- Research theological schools that have an embedded model of curriculum delivery in a church context to determine the most effective forms of church-based theological education that will then inform the grant project.
- Provide weekly updates on the research progress and findings to the Dean.
- Provide periodic written reports on the results of the research to the Dean.
- Research the findings of the first round of Pathways for Tomorrow Grants from 2021-2022 to determine relevant challenges and needs for seminaries that provide theological education for denominations that financially aid institutions.
- Provide weekly updates on the research progress and findings to the Dean.

- Provide administrative support for several regional and national in-person gatherings of pastors, denominational leaders, and Ambrose representatives. This includes advertising, hotel and flight booking, catering, etc.
Education and Experience
- Seminary degree or currently in a seminary program of study.
- Research and administrative experience.
Skills
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong attention to details.
- Able to work independently.
