Sessional Instructor - Zoology
Lab Instructor: ZOO 275L Invertebrate Zoology Lab
Winter 2026 Semester
This course deals with the organization and morphology of the invertebrate phyla. Labs involve dissection and scientific drawing of several major invertebrate phyla, as well as observations of live specimens.
Duties will include:
- Preparation, teaching, and grading of an undergraduate-level lab. Full instructions will be provided.
Candidates should have a Master’s degree (PhD preferred) in a relevant field by the time of placement. Successful candidates will be committed to high quality teaching and be student centered. Preference will be given to candidates with undergraduate teaching experience, and abilities to integrate Christian perspectives into teaching and learning. Knowledge of invertebrate classification (phylum and class), evolution, and anatomy a must.
- Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience.
- Employment is contingent upon satisfactory criminal background check and academic transcripts.
