Description
This award was created to financially assist those who have the Call of God on their life to serve the local church in full-time ministry as a Pastor. This award is renewable for the duration of the student's degree, receiving an award of $10,000 annually.
Requirements:
- Application to Ambrose University
- Letter of Reference from the Applicant's Church Pastor
Student Eligibility:
Students must be enrolled in one of these programs:
1. School of Ministry:
- Church & Family Ministry
- Church Ministry
- Youth Ministry
- Intercultural Ministry
2. Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies leading to a Master of Divinity (5 years)
3. Ambrose Seminary:
- Master of Divinity
- Master of Intercultural Ministries
- Master of Leadership and Ministry
Student must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, have a valid Student Visa or Study Permit, or be a Protected Person of Canada
Scholarship Criteria:
- Enrolled full-time in one of the identified programs with a desire to pursue full-time Pastoral Ministry in the local church
- Maintain a CGPA of 3.4
Students who receive the Moerman, Rev. John (Johannes) Memorial Scholarship will not be eligible for the Church Servant Leadership or Presidential Scholarship.
