On September 10, 2024, Ambrose University marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of the new School of Business Building. The new facility provides much-needed classroom and office space for our growing community of business students and faculty, setting the stage for innovative learning and collaboration.
The event kicked off with a panel discussion featuring industry professionals, who shared insights into their careers and offered valuable advice to students. The interactive Q&A session that followed gave students the chance to engage directly with these leaders, deepening their understanding of the business world and sparking inspiring conversations about their futures.
Following the panel, the Ambrose community gathered outside the new building for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony. Ambrose Board Member Srimal Ranasinghe, alongside Dr. Pam Nordstrom, Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, cut the ribbon, officially opening the doors to the new facility. President Rev. Dr. Bryce Ashlin-Mayo and Dr. Murray Mactavish Associate Dean of the School of Business were also present to celebrate the occasion. Rev. Dr. Matt Boda, District Superintendent of the Western Canadian District of The Alliance Canada concluded the ceremony with a word of prayer over the new building.
After the ceremony, attendees were invited to take a tour of the new building, exploring the modern spaces. The day concluded with a sweet touch as guests were treated to celebratory cupcakes, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the Ambrose School of Business.
We look forward to seeing the incredible impact this new space will have on our business students and the broader Ambrose community.
