Recruitment and Campus Visit Coordinator

We are seeking a Recruitment and Campus Visit Coordinator who is service-driven, highly organized, and energized by creating meaningful first impressions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment and enjoys blending event coordination, student engagement, and operational excellence to support enrollment goals.
This is a 6-month limited-term position, with the possibility of extension based on departmental needs.
Position Summary
The Recruitment and Campus Visit Coordinator plays a key role in delivering engaging and high-quality recruitment experiences for prospective students. This position combines strong customer service and sales orientation with operational execution, supporting the planning and delivery of on-campus recruitment events, coordination of the campus visit program, and oversight of the Student Ambassador contact centre.
Through these efforts, the role contributes directly to building relationships with prospective students and supporting departmental recruitment objectives.
This position requires flexibility, including evening work (2–3 evenings per week from September through May) and occasional weekend commitments to support recruitment activities.

Duties and Responsibilities
Campus Visits
- Responsible for the coordination and development of effective Open Houses (fall and winter), Preview Days, Program-specific events, and other internal recruitment visit events
- Responsible for ensuring group and individual campus visits are planned and executed effectively
- Train Ambrose students to give tours to prospective students and their families.
- Work with the Recruitment & Admissions/Financial Aid Assistant to coordinate planning and follow-up for visits.
- Set clear annual targets for campus visits.
- Responsible for campus visits bookings in JRM.
Recruitment
- Hire and train part-time student workers to represent Ambrose.
- Liaise with faculty and Manager on training and goals.
- Schedule student ambassadors to accomplish the contact center’s weekly and monthly contact goals while developing a schedule benchmark for future operations based on enrolment needs.
Supervise the student ambassadors daily:
- Provide students with a list of inquiries/prospects to text, telephone or e-mail each day with specific scripting to increase new student enrolment.
- Motivate student workers to achieve personal and team goals.
- Produce reports based on ambassadors weekly completed actions.
- Recruit a group of 15-20 volunteer ambassadors to assist with other on-campus events and youth group events as required (primarily on-campus events).
- Responsible for recruitment and training this group at the beginning of each semester.
- Develop inquiry communication (e.g. texting, phone) plan in coordination with the Manager at the beginning of each semester, and report on inquiries each month.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a post-secondary recruitment and admissions office.
Skills
- Event planning and project management

- Strong IT and administrative skills (Microsoft Office, CRM tools like JRM)
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
