Seminary Campus Life

Body

Campus life at Ambrose Seminary is all about creating meaningful community amongst students and between students and faculty. Community is vital to formation, learning and development, especially during the unique life stage of attending seminary.

Opportunities for fellowship give you the chance to process and apply the things you’re learning in your studies while also connecting with other people who are following God’s calling on their lives, whether in ministry or academics.

Seminary Commons

This is a relaxing and welcoming space for seminary students to call their own. It has plenty of comfortable seating and tables so you can study, enjoy a conversation or have a bite to eat with your classmates in a quiet corner of the campus. Access is generally restricted to seminary students.

Worship & Retreats

Chapel and Spiritual Life

As a Christian university, Ambrose makes intentional space for your faith to flourish. Our hope and prayer is that through your time at Ambrose you would grow in your love for God, neighbour, self, and creation. You can learn more about Spiritual Life at Ambrose here

Service Times

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:15am – 12pm

Seminary Retreats

Twice every year, seminary students are invited to step away from their regular routines and surroundings and take time for prayer, personal reflection and group discussion.

These retreats are ideal occasions to build meaningful relationships based on spiritual companionship with your fellow students. They’re also a chance to re-focus on your own spiritual journey, your relationship with God and your vocational path.

Seminary Student Leadership

The Seminary Student Leadership Team unites and edifies the seminary student body by planning social and spiritual life events for seminary students and represents the interests of Ambrose Seminary to the administration. Email sslt@ambrose.edu for more information.
