Pamela M. Nordstrom, PhD

My post-secondary experience began as a student at Canadian Bible College in Regina and in August of 2017 I circled back to join Ambrose this time as a faculty member and the Vice President of Academic Affairs. During the intervening years, I engaged in the health care system as a Registered Nurse supporting infants and their families in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and through a role on a neonatal transport team. I followed that experience with faculty and higher education administration roles at Mount Royal University as Program Chair, Director of the School of Nursing and Midwifery, and interim positions as the Executive Director of Enrollment Services, Associate Dean and Dean of the Faculty of Health, Community and Education. My research interests include leadership in collaborative nursing education programs and assessment strategies for internationally educated nurses.
