Senior Recruitment Ambassador (SRA)
Openings in the Recruitment and Enrolment Department for Senior Recruitment Ambassador for the 2024/2025 school year. As a Senior Recruitment Ambassador (SRA) you will have the opportunity to develop leadership, communication, and administration skills while working with a team of Ambassadors promoting and telling others about Ambrose!
We are looking for enthusiastic, visible leaders who want to be able to share their experience at Ambrose with future students of the school.

Job Description
You will be responsible for the following:
- Sharing accurate and useful information to prospective students through phone, e-mail and personal contact.
- Plan, execute and attend Enrolment promotional events throughout the school year.
- Plan and execute campus visits, including the Sneak-A-Peek events
- Assist with leading and participating in activities for local youth group visits (virtual or in-person).
Hours:
8-12 hrs/week (2-3 evenings a week)
Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-8:30pm (days may vary depending on availability of ambassadors and other recruitment events)
Rate of Pay:
$15/hour + 4% vacation pay (salary is negotiable depending on experience)
Reporting Relationships
Reports to: Recruitment and Campus Visit Coordinator
Qualifications
Experience
- Leadership and/or customer service experience is desirable.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 throughout the course of employment.
- We recommend that Sr. Recruitment Ambassadors be involved in no more than one extracurricular activity in addition to their role as Sr. Recruitment Ambassador.
Skills
- Ability to quickly learn and maintain substantial knowledge regarding undergraduate and graduate programs offered by institutions.
- Strong information technology (e.g. Microsoft Office, Blackbaud) and administrative skills.
- Ability to host individuals or a group of students and parents for campus visits (including Student for a Day) and other tours
- Ability to assist with the execution of miscellaneous projects (e.g. assisting with smaller enrolment events, set up and tear down of Open House etc.) as assigned by the Recruitment and Campus Visit Coordinator.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
Call Centre
- Contact prospective students by phone and email as assigned by the Recruitment and Campus Visit Coordinator.
- Participate in initial and ongoing training sessions as provided by the Recruitment and Campus Visit Coordinator.
- Enter contact information into the enrolment database (Jenzabar Recruitment Manager).
Internal Events
- Provide administrative support to internal enrolment events.
- Attend internal events as scheduled by the Recruitment and Campus Visit Coordinator.
- Give tours of the campus to prospective students and their families as scheduled by the Recruitment and Campus Visit Coordinator.
- Assist in hosting prospective students on campus (e.g. student-for-a-day or other events).
External Events
- Potentially man promotional booth at enrolment related events.
- Visit High Schools and Churches for enrolment purposes as needed.
