Senior Recruitment Ambassadors will focus on connecting with and recruiting new students to Ambrose by providing a student perspective to interactions. Ambassadors will help support the larger department goals related to campus visit and enrolment numbers by calling, texting and/or emailing prospective students and providing event, recruitment and data entry support as needed.
Hours:
- 8-12 hrs/week (2-3 evenings a week)
- Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-8:30pm (days may vary depending on availability of ambassadors and other recruitment events)
Uphold brand guidelines and be an ambassador for Ambrose University.
Connect Center:
- Contact prospective students via phone, email or text as part of a larger contact campaign.
- Contribute to Department-wide goals around recruitment and conversion of inquiries to newly enrolled students here at Ambrose.
- Participate in initial and ongoing training sessions as provided by your supervisor.
Data Entry:
- Enter new leads into student information system(s).
- Confirm accuracy of data within our system(s).
- Assist with general data clean-up, entry and creating tasks for advisors, if necessary.
Event Support:
- Provide support and enthusiasm at campus-wide recruitment events, such as Open House.
- Provide feedback following events on how we can improve and better reach our audiences.
- Support other on-campus or virtual recruitment events, as needed.
Provide additional recruitment support, as needed:
- Be willing to give tours of the campus to prospective students when available.
Social Media Ambassador*:
- SRAs will have the opportunity to also work alongside the Communications department as a Social Media Ambassador. This is a separate job position but works in tandem with Recruitment & Admissions.
- Social Media Ambassadors are primarily responsible for increasing awareness of Ambrose and influencing prospective students to enroll at Ambrose by developing and producing content for social media.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Current student at Ambrose.
- Previous sales and/or recruitment experience is an asset.
- Experience working with computers is an asset.
- We recommend that Sr. Recruitment Ambassadors be involved in no more than one extracurricular activity in addition to their role as Sr. Recruitment Ambassador.
Skills:
- Passionate about the Ambrose student experience.
- Experience and familiarity with Ambrose campus life and knowledge of Ambrose student life and activities.
- Have a strong work ethic (dependable, organized, team player, willingness to learn) with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Strong information technology and administrative skills.
- Effective and professional written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to assist with the execution of miscellaneous projects as assigned.
