Peer Health Advocate

The Peer Health Advocate (PHA) is a student leader who is passionate about experiencing health and wellness personally, and seeing their peers experience health and wellness.  This student leader isn’t afraid to talk about difficult topics such as Gender-Based Violence, Suicide and Mental Health on Campus.  The PHA works under the canopy of the Student Life vision which aims to create a Christ-centred hospitable learning environment that promotes a flourishing community, faith formation and holistic well-being.

Commuter Life Leader

The Commuter Life Leader (CLL) is crucial in helping to establish a community environment within the Watkins Commuter Collegium that is conducive to academic, spiritual, and social development, primarily through building intentional relationships with commuter students, planning events, and the maintenance (cleaning) of the collegium.

A CLL is to be a student who displays an authentic and growing relationship with Jesus and has a desire to support holistic growth in the lives of others. The CLL plays a vital role in creating community and connection for commuter students.
